A few quick answers.
Is this an official Laser League release?
No. Revival is an independent community project to keep Laser League playable. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the original developers or publisher.
Do I need to download the whole game for every update?
The new Windows launcher checks your installed files and downloads the content that needs changing. Existing Revival installations can be reused.
Can I host a match with friends?
Yes. Use the host option in your web lobby. Friends can join using the manual address field. Connections across the Internet need a reachable host, such as port forwarding or a virtual LAN.
Can I play when a server is empty?
Bot fill is available. Dedicated-server settings and player votes determine whether bots are enabled for your next match.
Where do I customize my character?
Use Customize character in game in the web launcher. Save your choices in the game, then return to the launcher to join a match.
What about Linux?
The Linux client is experimental and awaiting further testing. Windows is the current focus for the new automatic updater.
